FITA 25 News-Children In Need Fund Raising The Castle Archers would like to express their formal gratitude to all the sponsors of the raffle held on the November 13th in aid of children in need. | Welcome to The Castle Archers website. We promote all styles of archery: Longbow, Barebow, Recurve and Compound. Archers of all ages and abilities are welcome to join the club from the age of 7 upwards. Our experienced coaches are always available not only to teach beginners but to help and advise the experienced archer. Archery is a sport that can be enjoyed by participants of all ages, whether you shoot for pleasure or want to enter competitions.
Beginners' courses are run regularly throughout the year. Shooting is available throughout the year at the Leisure Centre, Newcastle Emlyn. During the winter in the main hall on Friday evenings (19:00 - 22:00) and Sunday afternoons (13:00 - 16:00). In the summer we shoot at the playing field next to the swimming pool, on Friday evenings (18:30- Dusk) and Sunday mornings (10:00 - 13:00) G.N.A.S members are welcome to come along and shoot with us at the fore mentioned times and venues (range fees applicable). |

the club |

| The club is run by a group of friendly
and enthusiastic members who mostly shoot Target Archery,
although several members enter Field Archery events. The
club was formed in 1991 and archery was one of the first
sports to take place in the new Leisure Centre at
Newcastle Emlyn. The club has introduced literally
hundreds of people to archery since it was formed, and a
large number have continued to shoot and have excelled.
The Club always welcomes new members and organises many
"Have-A-Go's" for groups from the surrounding
area. Various social events are also arranged during the
